Nestled at 10019 Coors Blvd NW in Albuquerque, Range Cafe Coors is a vibrant celebration of Southwestern and American flavors fused with a distinct Mexican flair. This eclectic spot seamlessly marries a café’s warmth, a bakery’s sweet indulgence, a bar’s lively spirit, and a restaurant’s hearty fare — making it one of the most dynamic dining destinations in the Land of Enchantment.
Range Cafe’s menu is a colorful tapestry of regional and comfort favorites that invite you to savor every bite. Start your day with their renowned breakfast offerings like the Huevos Rancheros or Carne Adovada Huevos Rancheros, where perfectly cooked eggs crown blue or white corn tortillas, paired with house-made chile, creamy white cheddar, crispy Range Fries, and robust pinto beans. These dishes evoke the essence of New Mexican morning traditions, warming your spirit with each bite.
For lunch or dinner, the tacos are showstoppers—whether it’s the Ancho Braised Beef Tacos with spicy slaw, cotija cheese, and ancho chile crema or the fresh, vibrant Tequila Shrimp Tacos that offer a perfect blend of zest and richness. The Smashed Burgers and sandwiches also deserve a shoutout, especially the Santa Fe Line Burger loaded with New Mexico green chile and melted American cheese, as well as the Impossible™ Burger for plant-based enthusiasts craving bold flavors.
Range Cafe Coors is not just about bold mains; their bakery treasures such as the delicate Cream Puff, luscious Bizcochito Cheesecake, and tangy Key Lime Pie create the perfect finish to any meal. Pair any dish with their expertly brewed coffee or choose from a vibrant selection of cocktails and craft beers at the bar, enhancing the entire dining experience.
The atmosphere here perfectly complements the menu—relaxed, whimsical, and welcoming. Friendly service is a hallmark, as reflected in multiple rave reviews. Guests often praise the staff’s warmth and personal attention, from Owen’s knowledgeable and efficient serving to Manager Andres’s hands-on approach in customer care, embodying genuine hospitality that feels like being welcomed into a friend’s home.
However, not every experience is flawless. One guest mentioned a disappointment with a smaller-than-expected country fried steak and a lack of seasoning, which the attentive management team at Range Cafe takes seriously as they continuously strive to elevate every dish. The positive buzz about their consistently delicious New Mexican specialties and thoughtful service, though, clearly makes them a standout choice.
Whether you’re craving breakfast classics infused with local chile, a juicy burger with a southwestern twist, or a slice of decadent cheesecake, Range Cafe Coors beckons you to indulge in a dining experience that’s as rich and diverse as the region it proudly represents. It’s a place where traditional flavors meet creative passion, creating memorable moments around every table.
What started as a mix-up with our online order turned into one of the most incredible moments of our New Mexico trip! We were a large group from the east coast visiting for a wedding, and when it was time to pick up our order, we encountered an issue with the substantial quantity. The female manager, whose name I can’t recall, displayed exceptional kindness, apologized sincerely, and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. It would have been easy for us to become frustrated, but she truly went the extra mile to make things right. I am incredibly grateful for her and the boss’s exceptional service. My group couldn’t stop raving about it. Moreover, the food was absolutely outstanding! It was fresh and flavorful, which was particularly impressive considering the large order. Thank you once again for the remarkable customer service and delectable food. This will undoubtedly be a must-visit location for our next trip to town!
After not having New Mexican food for 2 years since we moved out of state, this place hit the spot. The blue corn chicken enchiladas were the best! Our server was the coolest and most friendly. The whole stand was friendly. It was busy, and there was a wait, but that's a good sign for a good establishment, and the wait went quickly. Definitely will be going back when back in the land of enchantment
I worked with the manager, Andres about ordering mini pecan pies for my granddaughter's Sweet Sixteen party. I explained to him that I had a budget and with us working together we were able to come to a resolution. When I went to pick them up Andres helped me to carry the boxes to my car. Great Customer Service. The pies were beautiful and tasted amazing. I would highly recommend The Range if you're needing homemade cakes, pies, cookies, or pastries for an event. Don't forget to ask for Andres when you're ordering.
Owen our server was fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly efficient! Our food was tasty and both breakfast entrees were big enough to share. I had the Chilaquiles and my husband had the Huevos n Queso. The atmosphere is relaxed and whimsical. Overall great first experience here.
Went for lunch for my client today as she wanted meatloaf. Her order was perfect. Mine however, was beyond disappointing. I paid 20.99 for a country fried steak that was seriously smaller than my hand, and had no seasoning on it what so ever and all the breading literally fell right off. I also specifically asked if the mixed vegetables contained bell peppers, to which I was told no, but it was loaded with red bells. I will say that the mushroom brown gravy was very tasty! The cream gravy was lumpy and no flavor except for the flour. I also ordered a side of red & green, which I didn't get unfortunately. The server was awesome as usual!
I had the Meat loaf and it was delicious the gravy was fantastic the vegetables fresh and the mashed potatoes creamy. The range cafe is always fantastic
Good food but would love to see more vegetarian options. The veggie burger just doesn't do it for me. Maybe a different Patty like The impossible burger or something? Overall though. Love this place, including the service, the vibe but on occasion did have a hard time getting the check at the end and on another occasion the person couldn't use my phone for me to tap and pay but all the other times before and after that I was able to do so.
